As artists in residence at Cold Hollow Sculpture Park, composer Matthew Evan Taylor and I created Beacon Fire. This site-specific work functioned as a sonic treasure hunt, leading the audience through the landscape between David Stromeyer’s sculptures to experience a series of musical and dance études. As the piece progresses, the audience becomes an integral part of the choreography. Beacon Fire was supported by a 2018 Vermont Arts Council Grant and was postponed until the summer of 2021 due to Covid-19.
