Jenkins developed Inner Landscapes with Nives Sertić, a video artist based in Croatia and Paris. This dance theater work was the second iteration of our collaborative dialog, which began when they were artists in residence in 2022 at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France. Inner Landscapes engages live music by Matthew Evan Taylor and textiles by Mac Melrose with video projection, text by Sertić, and movement by Jenkins to create a multidisciplinary world saturated in color, sound, grief, and whimsy. This work in progress was performed at the New Directions Spring Arts Festival, Middlebury College, VT.
